Mika Petrucci
“I believe in service because I want to help make the community I live in a better place; volunteering is an easy and fun way to accomplish this goal! Whether it’s big or small, a lot of time or only a little, every bit helps and every bit will make the community a better place for everyone.”
Mika Petrucci, is a senior majoring in Agricultural Business. Mika enjoys volunteering, which started in her hometown of Madera. Since attending Fresno State, Mika has served on the Kid’s Day planning committee, worked with the Bulldog Pantry, cleaned the San Joaquin River with RiverTree, and built trails with Sierra Foothill Conservancy. She has also been able to work with the College of Agriculture in service ventures through events like a farm clean-up day. In addition to being a Richter Center Ambassador, Mika is also a member of the Smittcamp Family Honors College and the Agriculture Business Club. Mika finds being a part of the Richter Center Ambassador team exciting because she gets the opportunity to encourage fellow Fresno State students to become involved with community projects.
