ALEX GALLO is returning for her third and final year as an Ambassador. She is double-majoring in Political Science and Communication, in addition to earning her legal-studies certificate. She plans to graduate with her degrees in May of 2017 and continue her education in Law School, after gaining work experience in government. She is the Touch the Community Student Assistant, which is part of President Castro’s Be Bold initiative, in which she gets to help students work towards community service projects. In addition, Alex is an intern for Congressman Jim Costa. Alex has always loved serving her community, and this year she gets to serve students as the Senator for Undergraduate and Graduate Affairs of Associated Students, Incorporated. She is also involved with the League of Women Voters, Delta Zeta Sorority and Panhellenic Council. Through these avenues, she hopes to continue to spread the importance of community service and volunteerism to her fellow students, and serve as a resource by connecting more students to the Richter Center.
